Tim Fernandez is the Managing Director of Live & Inspire Group of Companies, with over 20 years of experience developing people, culture, strategy and brands across the South East Asia region. Over the last decade, Tim was awarded the National Youth Icon (in Business), while building a spectrum of 10 companies managing digital ecosystems for a wide variety of brands across Asia. He was also appointed Vice-Chairman of an international non-profit organisation, Friends to Mankind.

A Co-Founder of Lemonaid Asia, Tim believes that a corporation’s mission, operations and direction must catalyse sustainable transformation within communities. He loves Indian food, cars, dabbling in new ventures and spending time with his cutie patootie son.

Apshy Vimal has always had a passion for working with the community, starting her first project at the age of 15 with Friends to Mankind – a flash mob aimed at raising awareness about adolescent girls living in poverty. To date, she has done 3 projects with the international NGO and raised over RM150,000 to fight child marriage. Education-wise, she studied Sociology and International Humanitarian Affairs at Fordham University in New York City. Whilst in University she worked at the United Nations Foundation in Health and Partnerships, attending events such as the Commission for the Status of Women. As a young feminist, she also held the position of President of the Feminist Alliance.

Since moving back to Kuala Lumpur, she has been building her professional career and is currently the Project Lead for The Book Effect at Friends to Mankind where she works to raise books and build libraries. To date, the project has raised over 50,000 books and built 11 libraries. She is a Co-Founder and Junior Consultant for Lemonaid Asia focusing on creative initiatives and connecting communities. However, above all else she is a cat lady with a love for desserts and horror movies.
